Onpoint provides comprehensive unit preparation and painting services, with the following included in the base price:

Here are 10 steps for an apartment turnover.
  1. Initial Assessment: Inspect the apartment to identify all areas requiring repair, cleaning, or painting, noting specific damages or wear.
  2. Clear the Space: Remove any remaining furniture, personal items, or debris to ensure unobstructed access to all surfaces.
  3. Drywall and Plaster Repair: Patch holes and cracks in walls up to 4” in diameter, sanding surfaces smooth for painting preparation.
  4. Surface Preparation: Caulk baseboards, windows, and trim as needed, and remove switch plates, vent registers, and other fixtures.
  5. Cleaning: Wipe down walls, ceilings, and cabinetry to remove dust, dirt, and grime, ensuring a clean base for painting.
  6. Priming: Apply a primer coat to repaired areas to enhance paint adhesion and uniform coverage.
  7. Painting: Apply one coat of the selected paint color and type to all walls.
  8. Inspection and Second Coat (if needed): Evaluate the painted surfaces; if a second coat is required, apply it at 50% of the base rate.
  9. Final Touch-Ups: Address any missed spots or imperfections, ensuring a polished, professional finish.
  10. Vacuuming and Cleanup: Use Festool CLEANTEC mobile dust extractors to thoroughly vacuum the entire space, removing all dust and debris from floors, corners, and surfaces for a pristine handover.
